"We had a great stay at Muir. The rooms were stunning, clean, with thoughtful touches. The staff delivered both a piece of cake and card for a birthday we were celebrating, and a cocktail for National Vodka day. The location was awesome, and we loved all the amenities. "The hotel was beautiful and fun. Great design, the shower was amazing, the bed was great, lighting was great. Staff was great. My room was at the parking lot window which sucked as it was bright light shining when car drove by. But otherwise perfect stay! I ordered breakfast food it wasn’t great. The lobby is awesome and funky. Love what they are doing with this hotel! "

"When you visit Halifax, stay in nearby Dartmouth at Windmill Walk. You will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and a 10-minute walk to the ferry that crosses the harbor to downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Our second floor spacious apartment has large west and north windows. A small private deck is off the bedroom. This 1920s-era building is in great condition. Andy, our host who lives in the building, met us when we arrived and gave us a detailed orientation. He made us feel very welcome."

"Great location. Walking distance to harbour front. Lots of restaurants and bar with a coffee shop outside the hotel door. We didn’t use the pool or gym. We did have a drink at the bar on the 4th floor. No one was on there. It was fine. "
