We went to Carrefour to stock up on food (especially drinks) as this was a much cheaper option than getting drinks on the go (for example 2 Coke's at a restaurant/bar would come to 50 dirhams which is £10. Whereas in Carrefour we could get a pack of 6 glass cokes for £5.
Similar to the Dubai Mall although fewer shop (although it's still big!). More 'mid market' shops than Dubai Mall but things were no less expensive. The Magic Planet area was great with ten pin bowling and loads of stuff for the kids.
Book a table at Karam Beirut and enjoy the views of the ski slopes while eating some great Lebanese food (give the houmous with meat a try).
Better than the Dubai Mall but still full of overpriced designer shops. What is the point of £400 jeans?
