"To start, the drain pipe on the front of the hotel was on the ground. Great sign of how the rooms are maintained (they're not). We walk in the front door at about 10pm and see another couple who had been waiting for a clerk to check them in for 15 minutes. One of them went behind the counter in the back room trying to find an employee. We ended up calling the hotel and one of the staff members answered and finally came down the stairs to help check everyone in. Check-in was smooth but they WILL charge your card for $50 for incidentals instead of just keeping the card on file, so be prepared for that. After checkout we walked towards the elevator but there was a bullet hole in the door so we opted for the stairs for our entire 2-day stay. Once we reached our room, we were hit with an AWFUL mold-like smell. They have the windows shut so the only way you can really get fresh air is from the ac unit in which I don't think the air filters have been cleaned anytime recently because that smell remained for our entire stay. When we turned on the shower, the fire alarm would chirp for a good 30 minutes and then turn off on its own. Also, in the bathroom, there was a huntsman spider and dead German roaches smeared on the walls (my fiancé is in pest control and pointed it out to me). The breakfast was bland and just had a weird texture. Overall, it was a place to sleep. Thankfully we were out of the hotel most of the time. I wouldn't wanna stay here again."

"This was my first time staying in a resort like this. I ended up in a shared house with a common passkey and then in the house were individual hotel style rooms. The room included a private shower/bathroom, double sinks, 2 beds/chairs/bedside tables, a desk, a tv, a coffee maker, and an air conditioning unit. The common room of the house had a fridge, microwave, and another coffee machine as well as seating. The back porch was gorgeous, the grounds were gorgeous, the drive to the resort was gorgeous. I didnt have time to utilize the amenities like the pool or workout room but saw people using then. The outlook was beautiful, there were scattered benches to.l enjoy natures beauty. Honestly i will return but would be a more frequent visitor if they allowed dogs."
