"Stayed here Mon-Fri. My initial opinion of this place was very good. Staff were very friendly and appeared efficient. Check-in was easy. Rooms are very good with a ceiling fan and additional tower fan in the room which was helpful during the recent spell of hot weather. Breakfast was good. "Overall I really enjoyed my stay. I booked the Manor House as only 1 night business trip but I would definitely come back with family. Great spa amenities and restaurant choices.
I gave 4 stars for two reasons.
I was not provided with a gown in my room and the spa didn’t have any spare so had to chase around the hotel asking for one. Big thank you to Adi on concierge, who ran to house keeping I fetch"

"We loved this hotel! It was way more than we expected. The food was excellent & menu choices were great. The pub area was lively & fun. The owners & staff went above & beyond to accommodate our every need. The breakfast was outstanding & they have the best coffee. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. "My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up."
