"below average experience, but great value. price - great! but you get what you pay for. check in: - hotel was hosting a big event on 9/20 and a lot of cars were parked outside poorly waiting for pickup. It made luggage drop off very unpleasant. It was also very unsafe. Stamford fire department even called and asked the hotel to move the cars out, which they did not do promptly. - couldn't get my room until after 4pm. "I am a repeat guest at Amsterdam Hotel starting over five years ago. This is a family-owned and family-run hotel. They are always superb. I live in Hawaii, where we take our "Aloha" seriously.
