There was tour groups there and the buses blocked the entrance to the hotel and parking so you can not see it coming in until you drive through the next door petrol station. "Great location for exploring Galway. The room was exceptional, but ours was facing a loud street. Each night until 2am, there was loud music. In the morning loud recycling trucks collecting beer bottles. Friend had a room towards the back and couldn't hear anything from the busy street, so it seems it's not an issue for all rooms."

The only thing we didn't like was that we didn't have the chance to hang a Do not disturb card on the door, so somebody came in our room and all towels were changed, even the ones which were not used, thats unneccessary and not ecofriendly!"

There were 8 musicians and it was true session-style - they were not a band, they didn’t all know each other, they just showed up with their instruments and started playing together.
