"April 2026: This is probably our seventh time staying at this incredible meticulously Puri Dajuma Eco Resort. Exceptionally trained and caring staff delicious breakfast options and views one can only dream about we particularly like Soka A, a charming bungalow in the upper pool area. Shell seekers. Leisurely walks. Surfing at Medewi. Free shuttle to nearby currency exchange, simple markets and to surf spots. Come here to get away from your daily world. Do keep in mind that the heat can keep you inside your place; great way to catch up on sleep, work on your watercolor painting, start that screen play draft, and play with each other. "Overall, this is an extremely aesthetically pleasing property. On the newer side, so everything is well maintained and the rooms are immaculate. The only downside for me personally- as a solo female traveler- is this is also a very kid-friendly property. Meaning there will be kids running around, kids in the pool, kids also running around the gym while you’re trying to work out. The gym also has one treadmill - and limited equipment so often times I had to wait or come back at a later time. I also found a couple roaches in my room - this doesn’t bother me too much being the humid climate and being on the ground floor next to the pool. Just for others to keep in mind when booking. Otherwise, it’s a great property and walking distance to evening you need for a nice stay."

"The staff was very friendly and attentive. The property is so special, I’ve never stayed anywhere with architecture like this before. The spa was beautiful, a waterfall right by the hot tub and cold plunge is a beautiful touch. I will definitely be back. "

"Our stay at Nirjhara was amazing! We booked the jungle pool pavilion room and it was quite literally perfection. From the time we checked in until the day we left, we were greeted by name, with professionalism, kindness and with genuine warm smiles. The staff really raised the bar at this hotel. Aris, Doni, Tia, Duta, Hardi, Yohan and several others truly made a difference and elevated our whole experience. "Amarta Beach Retreat in Tabanan is located right on a natural black sand beach which has stunning sunsets and is a lot quieter than the crazy beaches in Kuta, Legian or Seminyak. "The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was amazing. However, they definitely need to improve on sealing the rooms as there are so many large gaps on every window and door as our kids had so many mosquito bites. They also need to close off the outdoor bathroom as my wife was unable to shower or use the bath tub in private as there was a room directly above the open bathrooms, there were also lots of ants and bugs crawling all over the bath tub so we couldn't enjoy it."
