  • Selina Hostels at Playa Venao The hostel is new and not finished yet, but it has a great design, is located directly at the beach and the staff is really cool. A con is that there is only one shop which has basically nothing and is really expensive; so you either have to bring your food or eat at the bar in the hostel. The beach itself is good for surfers, but you can also enjoy the waves without a board. There are only two (or maybe three; nobody knows) buses from Pedasí to Playa Venao: once in the morning (I think at 7) and once at 12 o'clock. It takes around 1.5 hours. Keep your eyes open and when you see the sign of the hostel, shout "(la) parada, por favor"

Peacefull Sunrises and Sunsets

Exceptional destination, peaceful and beautiful, we enjoy plenty of breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. The staff were very kind and demonstrate special attention to out kids which is very much appreciated. The place is pet frindly which is a plus for us traveling with out per. Also the meals were excellent. Very happy with our stay, deffinitively we will come back.

The place is on top of a hill which gives you an spectacular ocean view. In the morning you can hear birds and the amazing sound of the ocean waves below. It is a place to enjoy nature, views, tranquility, the beach, sand, just to breathe fresh air. It’s a quiet atmosphere, not a party place. I love this quietness and I will come back soon. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. There is no refrigerator in the room, so i guess we better bring a cooler with ice next time. It’s really an amazing experience in Playa Destiladeros, Pedasi

We had a lovely, quiet and relaxing stay. The staff was super accommodating and helpful, going out of their way to please our needs. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Very relaxing and tropical scenery. Restaurant menu was varied and delicious. Only downside is the main road to get to the hotel — you need at least an SUV to get there, specially when it’s rainy. Will definitely come back during the summer!

The chef made our stay!!!

It was a last second choice and only for one night. The room was perfectly adequate, nothing special but clean. Parking and checking, simple and accessible. The view from our room was absolutely spectacular! But, as foodies, the chef at this property was over the top fantastic. We commend him for his friendliness and generously, sharing his time and his talents with us. And we regret that we were unable to stay for lunch.

The location is amazingly beautiful, the beaches are fantastic and the buildings are good (they are doing maintenance and it was not so nice to look at all the construction. But the road to get here was a night mare, it was rocky and with big holes. Also google map and WASE were confused on where it was. It kept taking us down the wrong roads. I arrived super stressed out because of it. Otherwise love the place.

Provide hot water in the shower would be nice. Also it was a hassle that the toilet tank did not fill up with water. Luckily only booked for one night. Beautiful location very poor maintenance of the property in my opinion.

Hotel Punta Franca is a real paradise! A great place to stay and relax on the pacific cost of Panama. Not my first time here and o always return to this little resort with the super comfortable rooms and suits viewing the ocean from a cliff, private beach, pool and open jacuzzi , fine restaurant and good breakfast, great positive and welcoming team. If you are looking for a place to stay and relax, this is certainly the place

The view is amazing. Food is good. Need to bring water with you, if not you will end buy a 1.50 bottle everytime you need water. Overall is a nice and quiet place. One of the pool the botton look dirty.

This is fine for a few days. The beaches are local and the sea warm. Whilst they claim to have internet in every room, my room (5) did not have internet in it. The food is average and the drinks seems overly pricey - $7.42 for 2 cokes… That aside the views are amazing and the constant roar of the pacific is amazing. I would go back, but only for a few days, its not a place to stay longer
