"I had a very mixed experience here. I booked a beachfront room at Nômade Temple months in advance specifically because I wanted direct beach access. In the weeks before my stay, I received around nine emails promoting yoga, activities, upgrades, and other extras. Not one mentioned that my room was no longer available or that I would be moved to a sister property. I only learned this when I arrived. To their credit, the replacement room was very nice and had a private pool, and the staff throughout the stay were friendly and helpful. But it was still not the beachfront room or experience I had booked and paid for months earlier. The beach was also essentially unusable because of extremely heavy sargassum. Obviously the hotel cannot control that, but given how central the beach is to the experience they sell, I think guests should be warned when conditions are this severe. The property is beautiful and the staff were good. My main frustration is the communication. If you can send guests nine emails selling additional services, you can send one telling them the room they booked is no longer available."

"I was here in the off season so it was very quite but ended up having a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the hotel amenities. The gym is great and the roof top pool was very refreshing. The entire staff was accommodating and friendly. The food was great!! Ate 50% of my meals at the hotel and really enjoyed it. if you are looking for a cozy hotel nestled in the jungle this is the place!"
