"Hosts were very welcoming, restaurant was above and beyond, but room cleanliness was a huge miss. Long black hairs on the bedsheets, towels, and in the shower."

"A very well located motel on the outskirts of Courtney centre. Lots of parking. Recently renovated the rooms were clean and well kept. Comfy beds, awesome shower. Very modern finish for a motel. Bonus was the free coffee machine 24hrs. Unfortunately pool was closed fue to the time of year, but there was a nice outdoor seating area, indoor bar top shuffleboard, and humongous TV in the lounge. Also they welcome dogs a d do it charge a fortune for them. The staff were so welcoming and kind."

"Clean room, beds weren’t that comfortable, feel old and need new mattresses. Biggest issue was the water heat. Had a jacuzzi tub in bedroom and wouldn’t get hot enough to have a solid bath. Notified the front desk a couple times and got a sorry that’s all it is. The rooms have their own water heaters… a couple thermostat adjustments and people could enjoy their bath"

"Clean room , friendly staff. Mark was very helpful and friendly. Morning Mountain View was fantastic. We could use the microwave for dinner and breakfast to heat up our food. Convenient store has variety of food and snacks even Alcohol. Great place to rest and enjoy night after skookumchuck narrows trailhead. Want to come back again. "

"Davis Brook Retreat is not to be missed! The property is stunning, peaceful, and had everything you could need. The hot tub was amazing! Feels very remote while also being less than a 10 minute drive into town. The owners also gave us some great hiking recommendations! Would 100% stay here again. "

"Room was clean, batheroom was lovely and had very nice products, staff at check in/out were nice. Location was great! Looks like the renovations aren't completely finished as our room needed proper window coverings, matching bedside lamps (one was truly awful!), had no wall decorations of any sort and needed another lamp in the corner as it was a very dark room. Bed was comfortable but it made a clanging down when you got i and out which was odd, like someone banging a steel drum. The chairs...

Not sure if this is Expedia or the hotel not reading messages. Otherwise, we had a very comfortable stay with an awesome view! "The room was excellent as usual the only problem I had with the stay is that nobody reached out to me to give me instructions on how to get my room key after hours and the bath mat for the tub needed to be replaced it felt like I was standing on a porcupine "

"The hotel is in a beautiful setting and the views are phenomenal. The food was fantastic and they menu was varied enough to not be repetitive or boring. Lots of shops within an easy walk and access to tourist attractions is very simple, whether in town or traveling to the nearby area. Most definitely going to stay again as the staff made our stay very enjoyable."
