Tips: get up early before the village awakes and visit the small pebble beach directly opposite the hotel, Your own private beach Get the 6.50pm ferry to Lopud, have dinner on the water, watch the sun go down then get the last ferry back to Sipan Get the bus to the other side of the island The restaurant next door is great, family run but busy so make sure you book in advance Transfer is worth it for the ease of mind Will be back"

"Phenomenal property, amazing views, and walking distance to the old city. Five stars hotel. Restaurant prices were exorbitant. 32 euros burger. Old town is also very expensive during summer time. "

"Had a lovely week staying at hotel Cavtat. It is located perfectly for the restaurants on an evening. We were disappointed the bar shuts at 11.00 and the pool bar at 6pm. We had family interconnecting room which worked really well with our two teenage daughters. If you have children he pool is very small and might not be what they need. We managed and didn’t have many pool days but my younger daughter loves a lilo in the water and we didn’t feel it was the right place or big enough for that. You do have to pay to hire sunbeds €5 per person per half day but you do get a voucher to spend at the pool bar as long as you spend over €5. However, there is no getting up early to put towels down as you choose your bed number and it is always there for you whatever time you go down. Breakfast had a good choice and fresh omelettes made to order. All the staff were very friendly and pleasant. I will certainly be back to Cavtat and would consider using Hotel Cavtat again. "

The entrance to the hotel is outstanding with an incredible view of the sea the minute you walk in. We were greeted extremely well upon our arrival - extreme apologies I’m not sure of the lady’s name. She showed us to our V level room, which was readily prepared with complimentary gifts to celebrate our wedding anniversary and big birthday. She showed us how we select a scent of our choice from our room and we were greeted with a wonderful sea view. This wasn’t an interrupted sea view as there were lots of trees and a view of a car park but the sea view was wonderful all the same. We had breakfast every day where there was a good range of options. The lift from our area of the hotel was slightly temperamental but we only had to travel a couple of floors so wasn’t a problem for us. Whilst there, we had spa treatments which were excellent and used the hotel pool. As part of the V Level package we had use of a cabana, just be mindful this is first come first serve - there are more available around the beach area. Dubrovnik has one sandy beach which requires a ferry trip all other beaches are pebbly. We had a meal in the Momenti restaurant with a 5 course tasting menu and bottle of wine. Our service was excellent from Martin and we had an outstanding sunset view completely to ourselves! Overall an incredible city and hotel stay. Thank you all!❤️ Highly recommend!"
