"Stayed in “Deluxe” private room - basically an old motel room, but had microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kitchenette. Manager very helpful, said every guest has towels & sheets provided (info on website was wrong) Not providing free breakfast or soup as stated on website, but Chateau is close to great cafes & bars. Washing machine & dryer worked well - place needs a fix up & paint. "

"Have stayed at the Ibis on three occassions. It's clean, comfortable and conveniently located. On one occassion the room was very small and cramped. Room heaters are the hot water type, and gave problems on two occassions (and as I only returned to the room at night, this could not be addressed until the next day, and as no portable heaters were available, it was a cold and uncomfortable stay). Staff were friendly and helpful. Prices varied considerably depending on demand and often doesn't...

"I felt like a naughty kid for turning up early, but the guy who runs it was very nice. good selection for continental breakfast and an easy walk to everything in town. owner even offered to run us down to the ferry"
