"Besides the fact there were roaches in both villas they put us in, the bigger issue was the fact that two of the male workers let themselves in our locked villa while we were relaxing in the pool (3 women traveling alone) after we told them we were unavailable. "Relatively speaking, for hotels by Old Downtown Phuket the Novotel Hotel is very nice. The staff is professional and very friendly. The reception area is beautiful and impressive. The room was nice and the sleeping area was clean. The bathroom wasn’t properly stocked with paper products. The balcony was dusty and there were bird droppings along the banister. But the view from our balcony was amazing!! All-in-all it was a very very nice stay. "

"All very very good but for taxis you have to sort that they don’t have numbers for taxis.
There’s nothing royal about that Item all other hotels I’ve been at, have a number for a taxi firm."

"This has been a lovely week. The hotel is just lovely and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is lovely and there are many choices. The hotel has free shuttle buses to the Phuket market and the main shopping centre.
