"The perfect 3 day getaway, food was amazing, team very friendly and professional, my suite was perfectly decorated, bedding super comfortable, outdoor shower a must ( minus the mosquito). Definitely coming back !"

"This property needs to hire more staff that are welcoming, upon arrival at 2:45 pm they said my room would not be ready until 3:30 pm when check in time is supposed to be at 3. Then the front desk said to wait upstairs at the rooftop pool and order food and drinks but upon going up to the roof the staff upstairs said the kitchen was closed. Very Poor communication and very rude comments and stares. The complimentary breakfast via Expedia and all they gave us was a peace of bread with butter and jelly. I would not stay here again"

"staff was friendly and tried to accomodate. The original room had an airconditioning problem on one night they gave us another room for the night so that could be repaired. One day the smoke alarm went off in the room repeatedly, they removed it, and for one day and night we had no smoke alarm, it was replaced the next day. Not really the best for safety. Then the original room had water flooding into the room from a pipe in the bathroom, they upgraded us into a room which would have been nice except it was by their construction, so all day was construction noises so it took away from the experience alot. You would have thought they would have compensated some how maybe a free breakfast or dinner, but they compensated by a room upgrade besides the construction site. doesnt make sense. So despite the safety standard that all rooms should have a smoke detector , and lack of room preparedness, the beach was nice, the restaurant was nice. cleaning staff did a great job, the dude that fixed the AC was wonderful and friendly"

"We just left and had a wonderful stay. The location right on the beach was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the staff was absolutely unbelievable. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation."

"The only disappointment with the booking was that I am sure I was to get free breakfast but they did not have that in their paperwork. That did not ruin a remarkably relaxed and wonderful vacation. We spent 7 nights at Hau Holbox and were in the balcony with a sea view- room 107. The trees have obscured much of the view but there was a small water view. The hotel has a sister hotel next door and they share check-in and pools. The Hau has a beach club, wonderful warm water and clean beach. You quickly learn where the concrete blocks are and how to swim around them. There are plenty of beaches top explore and you can just walk the coast and jump in. It is extremely hot and the sun is intense. Bring lots of sunscreen. The real value was the wonderful employees.Shout out to Henry,Alexandria and Angel. They made us feel welcome and became friends. We told them it was our 45th anniversary and they decorated our room so beautifully!! Here's to floating hours/day in Isla Holbox!!! Sunsets are gorgeous. Water color changes all time. NO SARGASSUM.Hoorah!!"

"Love the hotel, food was delicious, the staff was very helpful, Roxanna and Aurelio made the best drinks! The folks at the front desk gave us the best recommendations to eat locally, and the beach view was amazing! Everywhere is walkable! Nos encantó el hotel! La comida estuvo deliciosa! El staff fue muy amable! Roxana y Aurelio hacen los cockteles deliciosos! La recepcionista nos dió las mejores recomendaciones para comer en restaurantes locales! La playa estuvo preciosa!
