"A beautiful piece of history! The house is lovely and unique! We stayed in the Lantern Room which had access to the cupola via a spiral staircase in the room! The view from there is spectacular! We ordered a charcuterie board for a light dinner and ate it in the cupola while enjoying the scenery. You can bike (free to use), walk along the shore, swim, enjoy meals out, read, play games and so much more! "We love this hotel. Across the street from the beach and some restaurants, you can walk to the Cliffwalk and the hot tub on the roof with the fire pit is such a treat. The staff is really friendly. The gym is nice and the breakfast is simple but good. I just wish people would respect the rules and don’t drink/smoke on the roof and the hot tub. The indoor pool and adjacent hot tub are really nice as well. Both buildings are nice!! We will keep coming back! "

"We had a very good stay at The Pell. I found the hotel during an Expedia search and was impressed once we arrived. The staff was amazing, in particular the front desk staff and the breakfast server. Our room was clean and well appointed. There is plenty of onsite parking and location was perfect for travel between Bristol and Newport. "
