Top Gull Island Hotel Reviews
Trailsman Lodge
8/10 Good
"Good breakfast decent room with location on lake. Helpful staff. Location is perhaps 10 km from Baddeck"
Joyce's Motel & Cottages
10/10 Excellent
"The owner was very kind and helpful. Brought something right away when we needed it."
Baddeck Domes
8/10 Good
"Everything is good aside from the washrooms , though it’s clean , it’s just far from the domes, good thing our domes are nearby."
The Iona Heights Inn
8/10 Good
"The staff was excellent and went out of their way for us (ensuring we could have a gluten free breakfast, for one). The place is cute. The view is awesome. It’s a bit remote, but that is part of its charm."
Maritime Inn, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"This is essentially a tired, old motel that they’ve tried to clean up and now they charge much more. The bed was very comfortable but the bathroom was still old-looking, and the furniture looked tired. It was not worth the cost- maybe at half the cost I’d stay again."
Aberdeen Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Clean spacious room, excellent staff and easy check in."
The Lakes at Ben Eoin Golf Club and Resort
8/10 Good
"I’ve stayed in more than 250 hotels and vacation rentals over the past 30 years, so I have a pretty good basis for comparison. This property is a little dated and could use some updating, but it was clean, quiet, and felt safe. Check-in and check-out were simple and hassle-free, and the parking was excellent. Overall, a solid and comfortable stay."
Ceilidh Country Lodge
8/10 Good
"Great location. Easy and quick to get to downtown Baddeck. Rooms were clean and nice. Beds were comfortable. TV was a Smart TV so we could stream. Complimentary breakfast was very nice. Staff was very helpful. Wifi was not working 100%. Kept going in and out."
Bras d'Or Lakes Inn
10/10 Excellent
"No staff at office until 11:00 am, so if you want to paddle on the lake in the morning; make arrangements when you check in!"
