"Excellent all around"

"We stayed for four nights in the jungle lodge with ocean view. The lodge and view were excellent. The lodge is rustic but comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, clean bedrooms and bathroom. We got a kick out of the outdoor showers! The staff were helpful and attentive, however, the primary way of communicating is via WhatsApp and the responsiveness and clarity could use improvement. "Nice location away (but not too far away) from Bocas Town. Owners were very friendly and accommodating with water taxis. A member of our family, who is celiac, had no issues. Beware of the little biting flies - they are everywhere in this area."

"A two-night stay at this charming hotel on Cristobal Island, tucked away from all noise. Nature at its best. Freshly caught lobsters and seafood, and the best gourmet breakfasts and dinners prepared by the owners. We shared laughs, stories, and karaoke in the evenings with other guests. They also coordinate tours and other activities on the beaches and surrounding islands. Also I recommend this wonderful place for a Pilates retreat - Yoga - Family reunion promotion, etc."

"Avoid Room # 402 at all costs. This room has a major odor problem in the bathroom and should not be rented to anyone in this condition. The smell of sewage rises through a drain cover on the bathroom floor. We identified the problem from day one, but no serious attempt was made to correct it. "My husband and I recently stayed at Aqui Hoy for 4 nights and while it was a bit isolated, it was a relaxing and peaceful location. We had the place to ourselves, so that was lovely, but I do think that having neighbours in the adjoining cabin would have impacted on our privacy, had there been someone in the room beside us.
