"We visited during the low season, so the resort was quiet and it often felt like we had the island to ourselves. We had a private pool with our room, although we did not use it much as the resort was quiet and the main pool was enjoyable.
The private pool itself was nice, although there were some areas that could benefit from maintenance. For example, the handrail showed some rust, and some of the nails on the outdoor floorboards appeared to need securing and were also slightly rusty.

"Stay there 9 years ago and loved it and why we returned. Staff was awesome but property was not well maintained over the years. No AC in hallways, shower dribbled water bedding old and tired. Was disappointed they would not credit 1st night as plane issues prevented us from arriving and we had to pay for an addition night. First day nice buffet but they eliminated it because they had fewer rooms booked. They were planning a renovation 8/1 and so the hotel was almost empty. Even with the low...
"The place is not an option for anybody with asthma or COPD. The tents are extremely moldy and the air is thick with it. We checked in and stayed less than 5 minutes in the room before moving to another hotel. No discount or other combination was offered"
