"The room we had was beautiful. New, spacious, modern & quiet. Excellent shower and separate WC. Bed extremely comfortable. Only downside was the 9th floor restaurant. Bright lights, noisy, unwelcoming. There was a group of kids yelling & screaming & jumping on lounge furniture. I complained to Maitre d' who said "nothing he could do"! Hopeless! The Novotel restaurant is much better."

But they still offered to make us food, and let us know what we could have within the timeframe. Would have loved to have had more time in restaurant/bar, as it looked so inviting. "The rooms are very small and basic and in need of a lick of paint. The room was clean and the bedding crisp and white. Don't expect any amenities in your room, they are basic and in a communal area in the hall. But that is explained in the room described. The showers and toilets are also communal and along the hall and are nice and clean. We were fortunate enough be given free upgrade to the Delux Ensuite Queen room by the owner of the hotel. "Traveled 6hours and wanted a hot shower and to settle into bed for an early morning Departure. When we turned up, our room hadn't been vacuumed. We were given a room and had to run the shower for 10mins, for it to get warm. THEN we tried to settle in bed but people were being loud/swearing etc outside the room and a child was running up and down outside our door so we had to request a new room. Thankfully, the staff member gave us another room and we were able to settle in but after travelling...
