sylvia was so accommodating and provided us with very helpful tips for our stay. before arriving she helped recommend and book multiple excursions and tours for us. and anytime we had questions while we were there she answered on whatsapp or in person very quickly. she’s very kind and el jardin is a lovely quiet and safe little place

Surrounded by wildlife, clean happy place.

Lovely accommodations. Short walk or tuk tuk ride to town. Like having a full kitchen. Beds were a bit squeaky. Owner was lovely women from Switzerland. She assisted in finding people to get us places. Was a lovely stay. Enjoyed the wildlife that surrounded our house.

Thought it was a cabin hotel in the jungle near the beach. Except it was a slave cabin next to estate. Outside the cabin there is your own space. Kitchen & dining area. Really close to beach. Only real problem is WiFi is unreliable as well as phone data. Host was cool. She what’s app me to find me when lost. Had to attach to a hotel WiFi. Really hard to find since it’s someone’s house in the middle of nowhere rather than a hotel. Host came and got me.

Well I would have to say the the location was great. Right in the jungle and close to the beach and walkable to town. My son and I enjoyed ourselves their. The only thing that was an issue was the comunication and the room we got. Now first i will say that the cabin we got met our needs well. However it was not the cabin we reserved. Somehow on checken their was a miscommunication. We got their early and asked if we could store our luggage. We put our luggage in one of what we thought was an unused cabin while our cabin was being cleaned. We then went out for the day. When we got back we got our luggage out of the cabin and then went to the owner to let him know we were ready to check into the cabin we paid for. He thought we paid for the cabin we were in. When i should him the booking. He said sorry their was already a group in that cabin. I was not going to kick another group out. I asked if the the cabin was the same price and he said yes. I contacted Expedia becauseall my research online should that the cabin i booked was infact more money. And wanted to see if i could get some kinda Cm Conversation and more then just a sorry. Unfortunately the owner was sticking to both cabins being the same price. Even though we liked the Accommodation we got and friendly staff I will not be returning.

Amazing property and amazing team managing the property. Felt like at home. Rooms are spacious, breakfast is delicious and front desk staff super nice and helpful. WiF was fine and allowed me to work without problems. Strongly recommend.

Bien que jolie avec une belle terrasse extérieure, cette maison manque d’entretien : porte de placard branlante, 2 lits qui grincent au moindre mouvement empêchant de dormir, un robinet de lavabo déscellé, micro-ondes en panne, porte d’entrée difficile à ouvrir, et interrupteurs difficiles à trouver. Nous avons été aussi un peu déçu de l’accueil froid de la propriétaire, pas franchement à l’écoute et peu prévenante: nous avons certes eu 1h de retard sur l’heure d’arrivée mais personne pour nous accueillir et directives peu claires, l’eau n’était pas potable mais aucune bouteille de dépannage prévue à notre arrivée malgré la présence de jeunes enfants dans notre groupe, 1 rouleau de papier toilette pour 5 personnes et nous avons dû en réclamer (nous en avons eu 1 autre). On a trouvé ça cher payé pour cette expérience mitigée.

Kleines aber feines Zimmer, rustikal schön gestaltet. Kleine Küche + Sitzplatz direkt im schönen Garten. Privatsphäre ist auch gewährleistet. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, als wären wir bei Freunden. Würden wieder gehen.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par nos hôtes, qui parlent Français, espagnole, italiens et anglais. Ils nous aussi offert des conseils sur les lieux a visiter, les restaurants les mieux quotté ect... L'hébergement est très propres a deux minutes de la plage, 10 minutes du puerto viejo...En pleine nature... Nous avons pu observer directement de notre terrasse, des singes, des paresseux et une bonne partie de la faune locale. Nous avons aussi eu la possibilité de louer des vélos pour 5,00$ par jour. Nous recommandons cet hébergement !

Beautiful property in the jungle. Kind of like "jungle camping". There was an outdoor shower that we used rather than the indoor one. Fresh towels more often would have been nice. We tried to each use our one towel for as long as we could, but due to the humidity, nothing ever dries. I recommend bringing your own beach towels and anything else you may need. Not much is provided. Regardless, it is a lovely place for the rugged traveller😉
