"Der Aufenthalt im Barceló Santiago war grandios. Ich empfehle selten Hotels weiter, aber dieses ist wirklich, nicht nur aufgrund der Lage, herausragend. Das Buffet ist toll mit abwechslungsreichen Themenabenden. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und sehr bemüht. Der einzige Minuspunkt war im Zimmer bei der Duschwanne zu verordnen. Diese war leicht gelblich und die Trennwand war etwas undicht. Ansonsten sehr toll!"

"The room was in okay condition but the cleaning was poor, the music was extremely loud and it continued until 11pm every night, when that finished there was music from some bar outside by the beach that was unbearable. If you are half board the most ridiculous thing is that they dont even give you tap water for dinner. "Stayed at Hotel Alta Montaña and it delivered exactly what you want from a mountain base. Clean, quiet, and well run. The staff are genuinely welcoming, not just polite, which makes a difference when you’re staying a few days. The views are outstanding, especially sitting above the cloud layer at around 1,400 meters. From a cycling standpoint, the location is hard to beat. You’re essentially on the climb the moment you roll out. You can head straight toward Teide or descend as far as you like...
