Old world charm, original building from 1800. Situated in great area of town for good shops, bars and restaurants. Hotel has lovely outside dining area, and inside dining for breakfast, which was varied menus.

Weekend Trip.

Our weekend stay was excellent, The hotel was excellent for the trip. The staff very friendly and helpful. A couple of items required attention in the bathrom……fixed immediately.

The staff members are very kind. Unfortunately one staff member, who is also very kind, does not speak English but often runs the reception alone. At arrival he completely bended my passport in an attempt to scan it with a device on his table. He first opened it like a book and then turned it over 360 degrees like it was a newspaper. This is unacceptable. I told him not do it but he did not understand what I meant. My passport had visible damage after that. The size of the room is good for two adults, the mattresses are in good shape. I did not like the cleanliness of the room. On the outside of our toilet bowl was dried poop at our arrival and after two days I scrubbed it away on my own. A lot of things are broken or not in good shape, e.g. damaged cupboards/shelves, damaged power cables patched with tape, which poses a potential risk for your life. Food is ok, but often not warm enough. The meat was mostly tough. The sweet pastries were dry every morning. Little variety of dishes. I tried to order drinks on three evenings, but I didn’t succeed. No parking opportunities and no advice where to park from reception. In summary, our stay was still ok for the price paid, but next time I would definitely try another hotel.

A centrally situated hotel with character. Two negatives, beds by pool could not be adjusted and the breakfast quality could do with improving. However we would stay there again. Good value for money

The wifi was pretty bad, making simple tasking like opening a new tab on the browser painful. I had to cancel a couple of meetings due to the connection being so unstable. The room I was in was nothing like the pictures, dark and small while in the pictures it was the opposite. The bathroom door didn't work properly too. At the end of the day, not a bad place, but for the price not worth it.

Sentral historisk hotell.

Et historisk fint hotell. Veldig sentralt til promenaden og sentrum av gode spisesteder! De rimeligste rom henger etter vedlikeholdsmessig og når det gjelder utsikt. De beste rommene med veranda er fine med utsikt i byen. Anbefaler oppgraderte rom. Hyggelige ansatte. Har brukt Marquesa to ganger.

L'hotel si trova in un'ottima posizione, prorprio in centro della città, per cui è molto comodo per prendere le linee degli autobus e spostarsi nell'isola. Ristorante a buffet buono e anche piscina accessibile tutto il giorno praticamente. Unica pecca forse le stanze sono piccole, pernottando una settimana iniziava a stare strettina, soprattutto non avendo nemmeno un terrazzino.

Hotel mit Geschichte

hola und wieder ist ein schöner Urlaub in diesem geschichtsträchtigem Hotel vorbei. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Wer Luxus oder gehobene Gastronomie sucht, ist hier fehl am Platz. Wobei der Platz des Hotels in der Fußgängerzone gegenüber der Kirche und einer Schule stören "könnte"! Uns nicht! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
