La habitación limpia y espaciosa, igual que el baño, aunque había un bicho en la pared de la habitación. Después vimos algún bicho más de esos, muerto, en la entrada de uno de los ascensores. El desayuno, excelente pero pasamos un momento bochornoso, cuando una de las personas de la cafetería, cuando acabamos de desayunar, vino detrás de nosotros, diciendo en voz alta, delante del resto de personas que se encontraban allí que teníamos que abonar el desayuno, cuando este entraba en la oferta del alojamiento. Nos quedamos volados con la indiscreción de esta persona. No volvería a este establecimiento.

Hotel muy recomendable

Llegamos en fiestas, por lo que fue un acierto alojarnos en el Parador. Al estar un poco alejado del centro pudimos descansar bien. Estancias muy correctas y cómodas. Baño amplio, pero con el inconveniente de tener bañera en vez de ducha. Un punto positivo es que dispone de un amplio aparcamiento.

El alojamiento perfecto,sin embargo con Expedia es mi primera y mi última vez que reservo con ellos.Despues de reservar 2 habitaciones con su pago por adelantado,una de las habitaciones nos la quitaron ,después de más de dos horas de llamadas para poder solucionarlo,al final y porque el hotel mediò, nos pudieron realojarnos en una habitación para personas con movilidad reducida la cual era bastante inferior a la otra habitación que teníamos reservada.El trato del hotel ha sido impecable y super profesional pero en cuanto a Expedia conmigo ha perdido un futuro cliente y con mi experiencia no se lo recomendaría a nadie

Una noche de camino hacia otro lugar, pero dió tiempo a visitar el Lago de Sanabria y el centro de Puebla de Sanabria, el parador es bastante acogedor una buena habitación y un desayuno correcto

I have high expectations of paradores. Puebla de Sanabria met my expectations. The receptionist arranged for an on time taxi to get me to the station (see below), and even advised me that an imminent fire alarm was just a drill (I was in the garden reading). I didn't have breakfast, but dinner was very good. The property is just a few minutes from the bridge below the stunning castle. Puebla de Sanabria is a truly lovely village. (Note: I was there on weekdays in early October. I don't know about summer weekends!) Note that if you arrive on a long distance train, the station is quite far away, there's no sidewalks for much of the way, and I didn't see a taxi coming or going. You need to get a hotel to book one, or do it yourself, in advance. (A lovely resident on my arriving train saw my plight and bailed me out. I am grateful for that.)

Parador muy agradable

Parador muy agradable. Por fuera no tiene nada especial, pero por dentro está muy bien decorado y muy acogedor. El personal muy amable. A destacar la chica que había de "socorrista" en la piscina, que repartía también las toallas. Muy amable y muy pendiente de todos. La habitación correcta. La ubicación... está fuera del centro histórico de Puebla de Sanabria. Para llegar al centro son unos 15 minutos caminando, pero con unas buenas cuestas o escaleras.
