I checked in to this hotel on July 4th. I had clearly reserved a room with one king bed through Expedia, but was given a room with two queen beds instead. This was the hotel's mistake, not mine. After pointing this out, they moved us to a king room—the room we originally paid for. No apology, no explanation.
Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. The new room had a clogged sink that wouldn’t drain at all. We called the front desk, and it took 30 minutes for someone to show up. The engineer then spent another 30 minutes trying—and failing—to fix it. That’s a full hour of our travel time wasted because of the hotel’s lack of maintenance.
Despite all this, the front desk still didn’t offer a single word of apology. Instead, they claimed the new room was an “upgrade,” even though it was on the second floor with a terrible view. Frankly, that felt like a weak excuse rather than any form of customer service.
This experience was unacceptable. I will absolutely not be returning to this hotel, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. Poor service, poor communication, and no accountability
