"The room was clean when we arrived, but they didn't clean the room or replenish the the tea/coffee/surgar, etc. The staff didn't know what a kettle is. The room TV wasn't working. Parking was $40/night, which is higher than expected (the whole night was under $200) The shower was broken; it works, but broken. It was a good stay, but I will probably go for another option my next time around."

"Staff were friendly. The hotel boasts they are connected to the UAB Hospital but it is connected to the parking garage accessible from outside. The parking garage takes you to the hospital. The room we stayed in was in need of repair and maintenance came the evening before we checked out. There is no microwave in the room but there is a dinky one in the ice machine area sitting on a shelf that looks like may slide off, no table to sit your food on and wonder if it is clean. "Mattress had stains, refrigerator had left over food (pizza box) l, bathroom had hair on the floor, one elevator didn’t work and night staff had an attitude when attempting to explain the condition of the room."

"Towels were filthy and have hair on them. Bed sheets itchy. Service guy spray air freshener as he show us our room. Room still smelled weird. WiFi never worked. Microwave button wouldn’t work. Frig was yellow. Floor also filthy."

"Lots of things didn't work and the staff didn't seem to care. It is overpriced for what you get. I would not stay there again."

"I really liked the area. I love the aesthetic of the room. I liked how quiet it was and it was comfortable. I do wish there was a full size mirror in the room - we were visiting for a concert and wanted to see how we looked after getting ready. That’s my only tweak. The property is perfect and we will be staying again."
