"All staff were delightful and very helpful. The breakfast is magnificent with plenty of choice and was very fresh. The coffee was the best we had during our whole stay in Ghent and Brugge. We ate in the hotel in the evening which was also very tasteful with attentive staff. The room was very clean and the bedding was luxurious. Access to the Spar is a nice bonus. "

"What a lovely hotel! We stayed with our two children in a studio and the room was perfect. Plenty of room and great facilities. The little kitchen was an absolute bonus and plenty of room to cook if you wanted to. Walkable to the centre and the dock area was an interesting walk too. Great pizza in the restaurant and breakfast was delicious too. Parking was also easy and able to charge our car, even if it was expensive, it was convenient. We have recommended it to friends and would happily stay...

"Our stay at the Novotel Hotel in Ghent, the Netherlands, 15-17 Oct 2025 was excellent. With the exception of a couple of people, overall, the hotel's staff was friendly and hospitable. The photos matched the room -- clean and roomy. The mirror in the bathroom was a foot higher above my head (5 foot 2 inches) and the lighting was not bright enough. A light in the entrance way was broken, and not fixed during our 2 day stay, even though a cleaning staff member knew and promised to have it...
