"The house and the staff were amazing! The home was beautiful and in a great location regarding park access. The staff was so very accommodating, and even let me check in a little early. If you’re considering staying in an inn, remember that the walls are thinner than a regular hotel. You’re basically sharing a home with others, depending on how many rooms are in the house. Overall, great stay and I would definitely recommend and go back myself."

"The overall property was very neat and well landscaped. There are multiple buildings - building #4 where we were, appeared to have been recently renovated with new carpet in the halls and a comfortable little lobby area with coffee and hot chocolate available. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The bathroom was very nice. The shower had a rain head style fixture as well as a hand wand which was a very nice feature. "We were in a double with 2 queen beds. The one door we entered from the parking lot and the other was a sliding glass door to the porch that had a couple of chairs and a table per room to use. It was remodeled and clean and the staff was nice and friendly. The Island Explorer bus picks up right outside the hotel parking lot and is free to use."

"It was our first "glamping" experience and it was great! There were enough amenities to make life not overly arduous, but not so much it took away the camping experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely check out the locations in other national parks."

"We liked the fact that the inn was relatively close to downtown Bar Harbor. We could hop on the free shuttle that picks up guests from a series of hotels and inns. It runs every 20 to 25 minutes and ends up by the Bar Harbor Green. Trying to park in Bar Harbor is way too challenging and expensive. The inn is close to a very busy street, which can be noisy. Breakfast is OK. A wider variety of fruit would be appreciated. Not sure why kiwis were offered. You can’t peel them or cut them with a...

"We loved our stay. The location was perfect - easy walking distance to downtown and just a short walk from the Bar Harbor trail sandbar that is only passable at low tide. The staff were great and the savory and sweet breakfast options were delicious! Plus the water pressure in the shower was fantastic! Would definitely stay again."
