"Vila Luz is a great family hotel. We stayed in the upper section which has an extremely heated pool. A bit warm when the temperature is over 30celsius, great when the temperature dropped to 20celcius. The bigger, lower pool is less heated and great when it's very hot. Everything was clean, and the breakfast buffet was good, and well stocked, if a little repetitive. The staff are very friendly and helfpul. "If you’re looking for a clean, safe place to sleep while vacationing in Lagos, this is a great choice. Communication with the staff was easy and thorough. We had an issue with accessing the code to our room and staff was on site within 5 minutes of us contacting them to fix the issue. Our room was very plain and simple, but clean and looked as though it was recently renovated. Location was not bad if you’re willing to walk a few minutes. "Excellent location. Beautiful large room. Super helpful staff. The fellow at the reception desk carried our luggage up the stairs to our room. When we told him we were headed to the beach, towels and a lovely parasol were provided. This was so appreciated!! Would definitely come here again."

"I had a lovely stay at this charming hotel. The breakfast was delicious each morning and we loved sitting by the pool. The staff were very helpful and accommodating as well. The only issue was the hot water in the shower; it was lukewarm most of our stay."
