"This hotel as a former palace is a unique and beautiful place to stay. The connection to Mozart, its role in a recent mystery novel and the grand staircases and courtyards and small passageways really add to its charm. The location along the river is lovely and perfect for exploring both Old Town, the Charles Bridge and the areas on the other side of the bridge including the Castle. The rooms are very big adding to the grand palace feel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good. Wi-Fi was spotty and the light switch system was confusing. Also the shower made the whole bathroom wet and slippery. But these small negatives did not diminish a great stay in a wonderful city."
