"Cute place. Enjoyed the restaurant. Country cooking. Baked goods were great from their onsite bakery. Room was cute in historic hotel. Note there is also a motel portion. Bed is quite high but there is a step you can pullout and use. Was a small kitchenette. Hot water was out in historic hotel Sat night to Mon, but they made that right with partial refund. I’d definitely stay here again. Enjoyed the rockers on the porch and their garden was beautiful."

"I paid almost $300 for a room that was not that great. Think I paid more for the name than the room especially in a small town. Staff at front desk was nice and helpful. The room was ok but could use some remodeling for the price. Bathroom had some areas where it was definitely worn and abused. Corners could use some TLC. Bed was ok. A little firmer than I would like and the pillows were way too soft but I guess those are all personal preferences. Breakfast was fine. Food was available and never ran out. A decent variety was out for everyone. Overall, definitely would not stay again for the price. Would rather pay more and get a top notch room as the resort."

"The people who work there are the very best part of the hotel. They were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The beds are just a little hard and street noise was pretty intense (it was a Friday night) but otherwise it was great."
