"I live the S Hotel. The theme - 70s Jamaica and reggae - remind me of my childhood. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant on property is excellent, and the reason I keep coming back - the amazing Jamaica breakfast buffet. Plus the location is perfect for being able to conduct business."

"From the bell persons to the front desk staff to the server Patrick in the pool bar area. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely continue to always make the Courtleigh my hotel of choice when in Kingston."

"My main issue is about the cleanliness of the room. Grunge and dirt around faucets, unsightly dirty grout in the shower PLUS obvious dust in the grooves of the bed's headboard... Housekeeping is clearly not the best. I have the photos to prove this. I have stayed there before and did not experience this; hence my disappointment. Otherwise, Terra Nova is one of the best properties for a great breakfast, brunch etc. Great food..."

"The staff were not friendly nor helpful. We unloaded all our own luggage and were given a trolley. The drive to the hotel was under repair. We parked in what can only be described as a pasture next to the hotel. Sort of like visiting a county fair in Kentucky. If you approached any staff member they seemed annoyed. Like why are you bothering me and asking me a question. Zero help on where to go for dinner. The lounge and bar area were filled with locals that spent hours taking instagram photos. We waited ten minutes at the bar as guest of the hotel and had to shout out to the bartender who was having conversations with local ladies if we could possibly have a drink. Stopped at the front desk for a snack. To small airline size bags of chips was $30. Not a 4 star, nor even a 3 star. We have stayed the the Savoy, several Ritz Carltons and JW properties across the globe. This would be equal to a Super 8 hotel in the U.S. That said, it was also priced like a 3 Star hotel. Set your expectations very low for this property unless of course your normal stays are 2 and 3 star hotels in the U.S. I say that with some reservation as I have had 5 star service in 2 Star hotels where the staff really seem to care and want to give you the best experience. This is not that hotel nor the staff."

"This was an amazing hotel experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. The property was well-maintained, clean, and fresh, which made for a very comfortable and enjoyable visit. I have absolutely no complaints about my experience at the R Hotel Kingston. If I ever visit Kingston, Jamaica again, I will definitely stay there. I appreciated the balance between safety and privacy. While security measures were clearly in place and taken seriously, I was still afforded ample privacy and freedom during my stay. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kingston. Oh, the Jamaican breakfast style was on-point!"
