Golden Breasted Starling

From the African Rainforest Aviary.
It's called the city of roses for a reason- Take a slow stroll (just before sunset) and enjoy the staggering number of beautiful roses.
Lesser Flamingo.

I don't know what's so "lesser" about them, these things are monstrous. And hard to take one's eyes off.

They live in an open-air aviary with about twelve other species.

I ran out of memory-card space for the first time ever on this trip (one 128G SD card and a 64G Flash card). I blame the aviary, folks.

Put me in a place with colorful, flying birds, and I might never move from that spot again.
