When viewed just right from about one spot on the entire planet, the first dark window you see to the right of the central structure appears to reveal a woman sitting in her chair. To the more jaded eye, it would seem that a large flaw in the ancient glass happens to line up very nicely with a large, stuffed chair directly behind the window. No matter. People come from miles around to scare the bejeezus out of themselves by lining up precisely where the apparition can see them and shrieking in delight. However, few of them will actually stay at the "boutique hotel" contained within. Which is probably why the owner is looking to sell it. If you like company, but are not overly fond of money, you might drop by and make him an offer.

Room was clean, staff nice, amenities ok. Walls were too bare should add a few pictures. A tv in the 2nd room would have been nice, also a night stand next to the bed would have been handy.

Centrally located along the waterfront in Port Townsend, the Inn is convenient for most activities in the area. The property is probably 50 to 60 years old, so this is the "feel" of the place. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean and tidy (plenty of hot water for showering in the small (24"x24") shower stall.) We will stay here again when visiting the area.

The room was nice, obviously it’s an old property so it is expected that it will have some character. Room was clean, staff was friendly, not much more than I could ask for on an overnight stay.

Not the fanciest hotel in Port Townsend, but the PTI is what it is, a nice, clean, convenient, comfy hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. It does all of that well, and with a smile.

I had a wonderful time in Port Townsend and the Inn is conveniently located for walking or driving. It was nice waking up to the seagulls in the morning. I found the downtown area to be charming but busy by 10:00 am in season. Such a beautiful area.

The room was very clean and quiet at night despite being right off the main road. Our room on the second floor had a metal handrail right inside the door as there was an elevation change in the flooring. We would stay here again if you’re just wanting a place to sleep while you’re out and about during the day.
