"Notre expérience n'est peut être pas 100% représentative du fonctionnement de l'hôtel car a priori le personnel était en congés aussi le fonctionnement semblait dégradé : juste un panneau sur la porte pour nous accueillir mais on nous a répondu au 2ème appel. "This is essentially a camping cottage - came with linens and kitchenware. There is a small restaurant and kiosk on site (where you can order croissant and baguettes fresh for the morning) and the property is shared with a campground (with electrical hook-up). There is a semi-private beach and a beautiful and charming beachfront area with restaurants. You'll need a car to get there, but once you are there you could get by with a bike and walking."

"We stayed 2 nights at the end of August. We had a beautiful and comfortable room at one of the gatehouses. The bed was comfy, there were several English tv channels including BBC1 and 2, ITV and channel 4. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and well planned. The breakfast was all self service. "Checking in was easy and the gentleman was very helpful with suggestions on what to do and where to go. This hotel is 10 minutes walk from the ferry terminal, so is ideal for those about to leave France or who have just arrived and looking for an excellent place to stay. "This beautiful hotel, formerly a family home, is owned and run by the loveliest couple. Charming, friendly and welcoming. The property is beautiful and the view from our room included a very full apricot tree, the fruit of which was part of the delicious breakfast we enjoyed in the back garden. Would return here if we are in St. malo again."
