"A very pleasant hotel in the heart of town, which really enhanced the trip. The person who runs the place, Paolo, is charming. The only thing that slightly disappointed me is that I had really hoped to get a view of the square, but instead got a room at the back of the hotel. So if that matters to you, check before booking. "About a 5 minute walk to Mestre Station where you can get buses into Venice and both Airports (Marco Polo and Treviso). Room was comfortable and clean. Fast WiFi of about 80mb. Easy communication with the owner Francesco. "

"Staff very friendly, room comfortable with much needed air con. Breakfast good, enough not great options but kept us going. Location Excellent. The pic on website overlooking canal is misleading as it doesn’t, but this is a great little hotel, friendly staff, clean and comfortable right in the middle of Venice. Definitely be back."

"I liked it because it was a quiet area away from the crowds. You could take a traghetto to san.marco side or walk for an extra 10 minutes and cross at a bridge. It was definitely less crazy and less touristy. The stores nearby also sold more artisan items and not touristy items, perhaps its because of its proximity to the Guggenheim museum. The room was nice and on theme, washroom was modern and clean. There was ac! Although I would've like some instructions on how to ventilate the room better. "

"It is a really perfect location--easily accessible from either the Grand Canal or the ferry from Murano and the airport. It's very close to dining of all kinds, as well as easy walking distance to the key Venice attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room, comfortable and charming. I really enjoyed everything about my experience here and heartily recommend it."

"It is small place small elevator but next to gondola stop surrounded by restaurants and businesses. I am still at a loss getting to boat stop and train stop to and fro the hotel. There are Filipinos in the reception, kitchen and room this is why I like the place."

"The team was so kind & welcoming to be sure to explain accessing the property & amenities of room upon our arrival. It was quiet property on a quiet street/part of the city which we really liked. But also short walk to Academia bridge & squares & good restaurants. We utilized the Allileguna upon departure to get us to airport & it was short 2 block walk. "
