"Beautiful hotel! The staff was so friendly and service minded. It was a little difficult to find the hotel when driving, but you go into the Park Village. I would recommend to anyone! "

"I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area.
I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely.
At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...

"Saleh the owner is a tremendous host. Nothing is too much trouble. I have nothing but respect for him and how he helps his community. The house is in a quiet street, perfect for the airport. Most folks stay for a night on the way home or before they move on.
However I stayed for five nights and had a splendid time."

"We had an amazing stay at this hotel in Zanzibar and would highly recommend it, especially for families or anyone looking for a relaxed break rather than the more touristy feel of some of the other beaches and resorts.
The hotel is beautifully located close to the beach, with each room being very spacious and easily accessible. The breakfast buffet is vast and really good with crepes and omelettes made to order! We especially enjoyed the Masai dancing and the Italian-themed seafood barbecue held right on the beach. The staff were extremely attentive and genuinely made us feel well looked after. The nightly turn-down service, including having the mosquito nets sprayed each evening meant we were not plagued by mosquitoes each night - the staff paid attention to the little details, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble.
There is also a tourist company located on site, which made organising day trips very easy. Taxis are readily available, and it is only around a 20-minute ride to Kiwengwa where you will find another fabulous beach and plenty of restaurants to explore.
What really stood out for us, though, was the atmosphere. Rather than feeling like we were simply staying in a hotel, we felt as though we were being welcomed into a family. The warmth and friendliness of everyone made it feel like a true home away from home.
A huge thank you to Santosh, Suzan, Charles and Frank for making our stay so special and for making it feel like home away from home."
"The Mora is a beautiful property. It’s very peaceful and aesthetically pleasing!! The rooms are extremely clean and large. The staff is very welcoming and engaging. Welcome snacks and a drink were provided on arrival. A bit of honesty for other readers considering staying here: I wasn’t a fan of the buffet food, mostly Indian. The other restaurants are by reservation only and the steak house was fully booked my entire stay. So I would advise to book ahead. And the resort is over an hour from Stonetown however, I still thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would return!"
"Our inbound transportation wasn’t there due to misunderstanding on the hotel part even though we had called and exchanged few emails but they found a quick solution for us and it went very smoothly.
I would suggest to add some snacks (cookies, cakes, crisps, chocolate bars, etc .) at the bar and not only drinks to make it more convenient."
"Not one complaint 10/10 everyone was nice the food was amazing great shows we loved it so much we had to stay and extra day and we were so mad we had to leave will definitely be coming back !!!!!!!!!!"
"I don't really stay in resorts so I don't have much to compare. The grounds, facilities and rooms were immaculate and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The view from my room was stunning and the beach was also immaculate. Some things did come up that made my stay a little less enjoyable.
This is an alcohol free resort, this was my fault for not realizing but there were restaurants nearby that served alcohol
We left our previous hotel to catch a flight to Zanzibar at 4am. We arrived at the hotel starving. Unfortunately it was in between breakfast and lunch so no food options. We were advised that there were restaurants that serve all day which was not the case for us. We went door to door and were told 12:30. We finally found one and it took 1 hr and 15 minutes for our food which was past 12:30! We would have been fine with a premade sandwich
Other minor things, we could not have 2 keys for our room so my friend and I couldn't really do our own thing without one of us being locked out. It also would have been helpful to have an ATM nearby. We wanted to leave tips but ran of of cash"
