"I cannot speak highly enough of our incredible stay at Don Alfonso 1890. We felt as though we were being welcomed home by family. The atmosphere is so tranquil and relaxing, everything embellished tastefully with soft pastels of flowers and lemons and local fauna. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with an in-room coffee maker and each day we would return to our room with a tiered platter of desserts and finger sandwiches - exactly what we needed to tide us over before dinner....

"This is a great hotel with view of Sorrento. About a 10 minute walk down to town. We took taxi to get there with luggage from ferry and then taxi back to ferry day we left. They helped us arrange a vespa for 70 euro a day that we rode to the Amalfi Coast we preferred Positano and Ravello over Amalfi too crowded. Staff was wonderful and there daily breakfast was great as well!"

"Very convenient location to restaurants and beach…within a few minutes walk. There’s also a saltwater pool. Rossella at the front desk was great. She went above and beyond to provide much needed assistance for an acute illness. Very nice, big and clean apartment. The only thing I was not impressed with was the breakfast. It was the same every day. They should change it up every other day."

"El hotel y sus jardines son impresionantes pero es un poco alejado y hay que tomar muchas subidas y bajadas de escaleras deberian ofrecer algun carrito que salga cada media hora o 1 hora que te transporte a la plaza"
