"The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We were near an entry door that banged shut constantly but we required a short distance to the car because of mobility issues. Parking was close and plentiful. Breakfast was definitely lacking but it didn’t affect us too much. I would definitely stay again. "

"My experience was a mixed bag. The first night, I couldn’t sleep because people were talking outside - or in the room next door - until 4:30 a.m. The next morning, I asked to change rooms, and the staff, especially Charles, went out of their way to help. They upgraded my room at no extra charge and even moved my belongings while I was away. I was finally able to get a good night’s sleep. The next day, I noticed some mold on the breakfast food. I notified the staff, and they handled it right away, throwing out the whole batch that could have been affected. Bottom line: they are trying, and the hospitality was far beyond what I would expect from a motel. The room quality was also better than expected. That said, it is still a motel, by a main road, with thin walls, people hanging out outside, and a breakfast quality that could be improved. I like to imagine that my second night was more the norm than my first. "

"This property got good reviews so I booked it. I have no idea who had previously reviewed it! I was not impressed. The rooms are straight out of the 1970’s! A decade I love to dance to but not a decor I desire in a hotel. It had a faint aroma of the 70’s as well. (Old and stale) The beds had the hardest mattresses I have ever encountered. Like sleeping on plywood. The room/bathroom was seemingly “clean” although I question how clean it could truly be when that dated. The continental breakfast was less than impressive but there was coffee so I was pleased with that. The Scottish Inns is not a place I would recommend."

"Outdated property. Windows need a cleaning throughout. May have been nice at 1 time. Vacant "Tavern" on the property. The grounds are very pretty but the courtyard is not. Some rooms have sliders to the indoor pool area? Guests rolling their suitcases on the brick floor sounds like a plane coming in for a landing. Not on my list for another stay.. "
