Please understand, this hotel is NOT close to the lake or shopping, at the top of the mountain on a windy climb up, then on another very rough road which you would never even notice...which is what makes it so incredible! "This has to be the nicest resort in Pokhara. The staff are wonderful and did everything within their power to ensure we had a lovely stay, even arranging transportation for us to visit local areas of interest. The rooms are spacious and immaculate and the spa was wonderful. "

"A nice hotel set in the Lakeside district, we arrived mid-afternoon and were treated to a free room upgrade to a mini-suite. This corner room was HUGE! with lots of light and views across the town, lots of water pressure in the shower and a very comfy bed. The breakfast buffet was excellent with the staff making the western dishes that we had been missing. Overall a place to come back to when we return."

"We booked for one night and ended up staying 4. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay. You are very close to the lake and restaurants and nightclubs with many to choose from. I would recommend staying at Vardan Resort. Not a 5 star resort but definitely a 5 star experience. "
