Fui colocado em um quarto ao lado de um gerador que fazia um barulho ensurdecedor — impossível dormir, parecia uma turbina ligada a noite toda. Só consegui descansar depois das quatro da manhã, quando me transferiram de quarto. Na hora do check-out, nenhuma compensação, nem desconto, nem isenção de estacionamento. Solicitei falar com o gerente, e sequer havia um disponível. Além de ser um absurdo sob qualquer ótica de hospitalidade, a compensação é um direito previsto no Código de Defesa do Consumidor, e deveria ser também uma prática mínima de respeito da empresa. Fica o registro: não é assim que se trata quem confia o seu descanso a um hotel — especialmente quem já vinha com frequência à cidade e ficava no hotel.
