This is an nice old hotel with a restaurant and nice breakfast. Friendly staff and a very affordable city that can be walked from the hotel. The Pilsner Erquell brewery tour is a must!

Just a hundred metres from Plzeň–Jižní předměstí railway station, this hotel has fabulous old Bohemian charm and a welcoming team of multi-lingual staff. The included buffet breakfast offered plenty of choice and was tasty. The room at the front of the building was huge and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

Nice hotel for a visit to the brewery

The hotel is perfect for a stay at Plzen. We strongly recommend a visit to the brewery at about 20 minutes walking distance. It is an old hotel (slow elevator and the shower could be updated), but it is clean and has a nice extended breakfast. Especially for such a low price, we did not expect to have this service level at this hotel.

Decent hotel in a decent location

A decent hotel just on the edge of the centre and right near a train station with direct trains to Prague. Staff very friendly and helpful. Shower good and bathroom generally functional. Pillow was one very one which wasn't the most comfortable but bed ok.

Location for transit could not be better. Across the street from a train station and less than two blocks from key tram and bus stops. Breakfast buffet is so good and had great options for everyone. Stayed there eleven days so I ate a lot of good breakfasts. The staff especially the cleaning staff was so friendly and thorough. The bed was a bit Spartan but my single room was very comfortable. This is my new favorite in Plzeň.

Great bargain. Room was clean and roomy. Bathroom very good with plenty of shelves. Breakfast was great. A bit stuffy but fan in room helped a lot. We were on street side but noticed little noise. Short walk to old town area and main bus station. I would stay again with no hesitation.

nice hotel in beautiful city

the hotel envirment is wondeful. the erea close to the old center city. the hotel buliding is historycal nice and impresive, i like the decoration. the breakfast is nice. the room clean. the only problem I had ( and to other couple), was that I make reservation for double bad, and got 2 singel. I ask the reception why it's happened, the answer was, the hotel is full and we havn't other room, the fact I have booking with doube bad, don't help.

Old room. The beds creaked ALOT, even when you just sat on them. Very warm and only a very thin white curtain to block out light in the night/morning. No bags in the bins. Location ok, bathroom clean. Free parking was nice. Would not return though.

It is an old hotel which is being well kept. If your looking for a modern hotel with conveniences this is not for you. No coffee in the lobby or room, but decent breakfast served at 8am, with expresso machine. The staff was professional, but not outwardly friendly. If you take the time to speak to them they are fine. The shower was awkward, with a hose and nozzle in a bathtub that forced us to shower bent over. Clean, historic, but very old school.

The “free parking” is not fully true. Arriving at Thursday at 20:00, the small hotel parking place was full. I was advised by receptionist to look for a place around the hotel, which is also free. I was driving on surrounding streets more than 15 minutes till finally found one place, it was about 500 meters from hotel. This created a bad impression immediatelly, but all other things were OK. Furniture in the room is very old, but all was functional, room was clean and we slept well. Breakfast was also OK, variety of hot and cold meals, tasty, fresh. Receptionist were also friendly. For the price I paid it was OK, I can recommend the hotel. … just the parking was a problem.

I had a very pleasant stay here. I was offered an upgrade from a single room to double room with balcony. I especially enjoyed the jacuzzi of the bathtub! The room was very spacious and clean. After I checked in in the evening I had a hearty and tasty dinner in its lovely and comfortable restaurant whose menu is set at reasonable prices. Although it is not located in an old town centre, it is just a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Moreover it can be readily reached from the main railway station by tram. There is a convenience store selling stuff at a very reasonable price. By the way, it is just adjacent to a railway station (not tbe main one). If you want to reach this hotel by trian, make sure to check if your train would also stop at that station. In the down side, as my room is facing the main road and a railway station, it can be noisy at early morning. Also, the WiFi signal is rather week inside the room, but strong in the corridor. Overall it is well worth the money. Highly recommended. I would definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Plzeň next time.
