"The lodge was in the mountains about a mile from Ben Lomond. They had several options for eating and drinking, just not in the same location. Restaurant staff were very friendly & helpful. We had a coffee machine but no cups- it was easier & tastier to just buy their coffee. The WiFi information was non existent, even though they gave a log in code we never got connection. That’s not always a bad thing but good to share with others."

"Over all the staff were helpful and were really nice. The room was nice until I took my shoes off for the shower and it was dirty. When I took a shower, turned on the water it was warm and at one point it went cold. The shower head was wonky, It was white and cheap looking and was spraying to the right which I couldn’t turn to the middle where I stood."

"Excellent location - walk to restaurants in DT and to the beach (Wharf and Boardwalk). Helpful staff when present - they leave for the day at 4:30 and when we left at 8am the reception person was not there yet so the reception desk hours are very limited but very nice when they are there. Parking was not good - they have reserved parking spots in a lot on the corner of the block the inn is on but the spots are compact spots, so when gusts have mini vans and trucks, not all the spots are usable...

"I’ve stayed at the Seaway Inn off and on for more than 30 years. It’s a beautiful, updated smaller property that is near the Santa Cruz Pier and Boardwalk. It’s had different owners over the years and has been updated.
The beds, and pillows are very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and very quiet. You don’t really hear the street noise but can hear the waves from the ocean. Our king room offered a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee.
The staff are friendly, helpful, and accommodating....
