"We had a short, 1 overnight stay in Nerja and enjoyed staying at the VG Hostal Boutique. The room was modern and clean and we appreciated that we could step out onto a terrace (overlooks the pool). The front desk people were friendly and helpful. The location is central but away from the crush of tourists. It was a short walk to get to nice restaurants and the shore. The garage parking seemed somewhat expensive but was very convenient. "

Good variety of food options off the property along the beach. Cons: No Coffee in the room. A face cloth is not supplied with the bathroom towels. No Iron or ironing board in the room. One could be borrowed at the front desk when available with a 20 Euro deposit. Pool towels require a 20 Euro deposit per towel and refunded at the end of stay with their return. This was common in Cuba 20 years ago, but even there the policy has changed to providing without deposit."
