"This property is a great location, away from the crowded Old Town. When I booked, I didn’t know there were actually 2.5 bathrooms which was an awesome surprise as we were traveling with our two teenagers. The access to the beach was my favorite part of this hotel. It was amazing! Be sure to include breakfast in your stay - it was well worth it. The only feedback for improvement would be- the bathroom toiletries need to be brought up to hotel standards. "Great property and great staff. Very responsive. Though my request for a room on a higher floor was not granted my room was the first room behind the reception area, so was noisy. Also, I was not given the complementary wine as an Expedia platinum member. The hotel was a short walk to the bus line so extremely convenient to the old town of Dubrovnik. Room was clean and spacious and provided hot kettle and coffee in the room. "

"A very friendly owner, a very clean property. A little hard to figure out how to get to it, as isn't on a main road. To access the property you have to go down many stairs. "Our stay at Valamar Lacroma was delightful! We informed them we were on our honeymoon and they upgraded our room to a stunning Suite, such a thoughtful gesture! We especially loved every staff member we met, their service was top tier. "We had a very nice stay at Dox. Close to Pile gate and you can’t beat the location. Being in old town was really great and convenient. We were able to get up early and go around the city before all the buses and cruise ships got there. So many restaurants and bars near by. The unit was clean and had plenty enough space for our family to five. The two bathrooms and small washer were very convenient to have. The beds were comfortable. Our host was really responsive and helpful. "
