The property was fine however I was charged first by Expedia for my stay, which was expected, then $100 for incidentals at the hotel, the remainder of which would be returned to me after my stay. Then the evening after I checked out, another $123.45 was on hold in my account from the hotel. I was going waiting for the hold to release, which 6 days later it still has not, and then 4 days after checking out, an ADDITIONAL $233.45 was charged to my account!! It was very challenging reaching someone to help me with the hotel, and then I was told sorry about that- it could take 7 days to return the money to your account. These erroneous charges have held up all the cash I had in my checking account and created a very serious hardship for me. I will not use Expedia again-not worth the hardship of paying twice.will not stay at a Springhill Suites again. Its now been 6 days after my stay and I'm still navigating the consequences of the transaction. I don't trust this company and the minimum was done to try to fix the situation. If $369 of their assistant managers checking account was taken from her due to an error, I feel like she would care. Bus since this was my money, not theirs, I did not get the impression they cared. No receipts or emails ever backed up the charges...just random charges made after I left.
