"Such a lovely stay! This small adults only hotel, just 5 rooms, is on the owner Anne's property, new and beautifully designed and maintained. They've recently added a gym, yoga area, sauna and steam room which we enjoyed very much. Anne and her team seemed to have a 6th sense whenever we needed something and were always there to help. "Hotel Moderne is an elegant gem in the busy centre of Porto-Vecchio. Arrival and departure were very easy -- we communicated via Expedia/WhatsApp beforehand, and Joana sent clear instructions for driving to the drop-off spot directly in front of the hotel, and for the private gated parking a 5-minute stroll away, which even had a charging point for our electric car -- so convenient (don't forget to reserve in advance)! "Owner was arrogant . We arrived at 2:45pm and check in was at 4pm . Instead of saying sorry I would love to accommodate you , he smirked and said well your early and check in is at 4pm. Our booking agency’s site indicated a heated pool , when we got there there was no pool. We asked if we could check out earlier because of that error and it was a NO. Called our booking company and said it’s up to the owner to refund and it was a NO. As well this is a B&B at 100€ per night. No breakfast included...
