"The room was old and outdated. One pillow had pet hair on it, the blanket was yellowed, one of the sheers on the window was missing, the microwave has seen better days (3 of the buttons didn't work), the silicone around the shower door was gross, and the office chair was peeling. Clearly I missed reading the reviews on this place."

"The staff at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They don’t clean your room every day, but if you want it cleaned, they will clean it. Since I am not a messy person, I just asked for clean towels and other necessities as I needed them so I was fine with that. All in all, our five nights here were great."

"This was the best ocean view suit I have ever seen. Beautiful, quiet, peaceful. My wife absolutely loved it. Fire place in the room, amazing!!! Roku connected to Tv and good WiFi. It’s a very small town vibe, very peaceful. Exactly what we wanted. We literally laid in bed and just watch the ocean like we were floating above it. I will most definitely be back. 10/10"

"The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional. The building we stayed in was old. We live in an 120 year old home but this seemed much older. Our room, especially the bathroom, was small. Be aware the stairwell is steep and narrow which may not be an issue if you do not have to carry large or heavy bags to your room. "

"We enjoy staying at this property when we're in Cambria. The location is great, the property isn't huge and the rooms are spacious and fairly well appointed. A couple of gripes this visit: the room wasn't as clean as we're accustomed to (i.e. found little bits of paper, noticeable dust on the standing fan and some tiny ants) and the body wash in the shower was empty. When we stopped by the front desk to share our concerns there was no one to be found. We're going to consider this an anomaly and...

"I had a great experience at the Cavalier. I stayed for a five nights and the staff were very friendly. The room was very clean, I couldn’t even find one Hair from the previous guests. I got an ocean view which was glorious. And I very much enjoyed ordering room service. Next time I will stay for longer."
