The front desk could not accept debit cards so I was instructed to use the lobby ATM. Cash was my only option in the situation. Luckily I had it on-hand.
There were several people walking around the property who looked like full-time residents of the hotel, one barefoot, one sitting in the stairwell charging his phone in an outlet, another wrapped in a towel in the hallways.
The lobby staircase and upstairs hallways are carpeted but with encrusted layers of dirt.
The room looked clean but smelled of cigarette smoke.
There were lots of people standing and smoking around the entrance. The entrance had cigarette butts scattered everywhere and no place to dispose of them.
The front desk woman in the morning was very polite and pleasant.
