If you want to see the redwoods or just in the area, it’s a clean quiet place to crash. The staff is all very friendly and they have a decent breakfast. "This is a beautiful property near the Avenue of the Giants. The king plus bunk bed room was enormous. The style is like an early 1900's mansion/castle, the room decor matched, but it didn't feel at all run down or aged. The bed was very comfortable. It had a bunk bed in a separate room for my two kids. The grounds are just as amazing as the hotel. You can walk around and check out the river. We are a great breakfast on the huge back patio. Overall it was a magical last minute find during our road trip."
