"The castle is very unique experience (and authentic) and Robbie is a real character (in the best way possible)! Breakfast was excellent with a range of options. The room and bed was very comfy. You absolutely feel like you are going back in time. Would stay again. Also the walk down to the beach is worth the wee 2 minute walk as there are some amazing rounded beach pebbles to collect."

"The advertising was very misleading. Expected a B&B with breakfast. When we arrived there was a note on a desk explaining the 2 plastic wrapped croissants and open items in the fridge were the breakfast. Room had a musty smell, bed and pillows are in need of replacement."

The kitchen is well equipped to cook your food if needed and the option to use the clothes washer was a huge bonus. Breakfast options were plenty and the coffee machine was exactly what I needed!"

"The lodge was very clean, well kept, and modern. Had all the facilities you would need for a short stay. Although it was just off a main road, there was plenty private parking just outside the lodge and the road was barely noticeable. The farm shop located across the grounds was lovely, and well worth a browse. The cafe in the farm shop was excellent, best breakfast I’ve had in a long time and reasonably priced.
